So I’ve just spent the past couple of days hammering away at compression and drum sequencing techniques and I think its starting to pay off!
I’m quite keen on the idea of taking down that last drum sample I uploaded now I’ve spent some quality time discovering what makes a quality drum loop. I’m too knackered now to explain what I’ve done different but it involves a hell of a lot of vintage compression plug-ins (and some contemporary, hence the picture) and a long time listening to the same 2 bars of my favourite drum sounds.
